Phishing Alert

Beware of emails with familiar names!  The owner of Quick Connect Computer Services recently received this email that at first glance likes like it is from himself, but a look at the email address shows that this is a phishing expedition.  The scammers are counting on you thinking this is a legitimate email because the name is one you recognize.  If you receive an email with an address that looks suspicious confirm with the sender before complying with the request, there is a good chance it is not from the person that it says it is.  It is best to handle emails you are unsure of cautiously.  Contact the company or individual directly (not through the email you received) to confirm the validity of the email.
