I don’t think we have ever seen such a shortage of Ram and Graphics cards for as long as we have been in business. Quality graphic cards have been nearly impossible to find for the past few months and an end to the shortage doesn’t seem to be coming soon.
The shortage of graphics processing unit (GPU) shortage started in December and for a few weeks now, high-end GPUs have been out of stock at just about everywhere. Some leading graphics card makers have even started to limit the online sales to two per customer in an attempt to thwart miners.
Premium computer parts, in general, do tend to fluctuate—but as far as I can tell, we’ve never seen a shortage this consistent and extended. It is, by all accounts, an unprecedented drought of GPUs.
