Quick Connect just finished Amberly Dental, a new dentist office in Waverly, NE. Pictures of this specialized installation are below and this is now a "Featured Project."

I was invited as a guest today to participate in an economic round table discussion hosted by our Congressman Jeff Fortenberry. It was an honor to be asked my views on Lincoln's economy related to small business and the economy as a whole along with other business leaders in a roundtable discussion. I also got to shake hands with Lincoln's Mayor Chris Beutler.

We had our annual Christmas party this year at Spezia restaurant in Omaha. Afterwards we went to Dave and Busters for some more fun. We all had a great time! Check out some pics:

On September 3rd we awarded the "Ambassador of Integrity" award at the Better Business Bureau's Integrity Award ceremony at the Cornhusker Hotel in Lincoln, NE. Tom Osborne was the guest speaker at the luncheon, and Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler along with several city council members attended the advent as well. It was an honor to be recognized at such a star studded event!

Our new Omaha service center opened August 1st and is ready to serve with 14 full sized workstations. More bench space than any other computer repair company in Nebraska. The new Omaha office is coming along quite nicely and at a rapid pace. Before you know, there will be computers lining those walls. The Store is scheduled to open Aug 1st.

Stopped by last night and they have already started framing...geeze, the new store will be open in 2 months and 1 week!!!! Still a ton to do.

I counted and we had 55 people total show at my house for the QC Customer appreciation - wine tasting party Saturday! So I would call it a full on success. Funny thing is... we have more wine now than before the party from all the people that brought wine as house warming gifts. We are going to post some pictures this week so check back!

It is official!! We are opening another Omaha NE Location in a few months. I signed the lease yesterday so it is now official. We are going to make our existing office in Omaha the corporate office and opening a park at the door, store front in Omaha that will be slightly bigger than our Lincoln store. This is a huge step and we are excited. Our Location is perfect and it is right next to a large Shopko (your hint)! We are already starting to accept resumes to hire staff for the store. Details will follow.

April 2008

A project we have been working on for weeks is finally complete. The Quick Connect Book of Fun is complete. This book has a lot of fun things to do for kids and even a crossword puzzle for the adults. Best part about this book is, it is free! Just stop by our Lincoln office and grab a copy.

We have been voted as one of the "Best of Lincoln" winners for computer repair on KFOR 1240AM annual city wide survey. We're very proud to have been honored with this. Thank you to all of our customers!

With repair service growing almost 70% last year we've added 5 new benches to our Lincoln office for a total of 12! This will help make our turnaround times even faster for our customers.

We celebrated our belated 10 Year Anniversary / Holiday Party this month. It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed having everyone stop by! You can read more about the party here.

The Christmas season is upon us again. We have our decorations up in the office and our Christmas cards for our customers will be going out soon. We look forward to another busy holiday season!

We have been very busy at QC lately. Carry-in repair services are up 63% and our website and custom programming services are up 100%. We have hired a new bench tech in order to keep up with the work. Ryan will bring a lot of experience to QC and will help us grow even more.

July 2006

The Lincoln City Libraries have hired us to develop a new website along with creating a new logo and branding. This is an exciting project and we couldn't be prouder to be working on it!

March 2006

Starting this month our commercials will be in rotation on various channels on Time Warner Cable. We signed a yearlong contract with TWC to play our ads. Our growth has been phenomenal the past year, with our website work doubling!

Kris was invited to speak at this month's local Mensa meeting. This is an honor so of course he said yes! Mensa is a club in which its members have a very high IQ. Read more about Mensa at www.mensa.org.

We now have some pictures of our new Lincoln store. We couldn't be happier with how the store turned out and the positive customer reactions. This store is just the beginning for us. We're going to use what we've learned through building our own custom work areas and apply this design to our future stores.

We have moved into our new location between Target and Super Saver on 48th St. We will photos of our new office up soon once the finishing touches are complete.

We are in the process of building our new store here in Lincoln, NE. It is a unique design that will focus on serving our customers better. It's North of O Street on 48th, between Target and Super Saver. There will also be parking at the door for easy drop offs. We'll be officially moved in on August 1st! Feel free to stop by and check out the new office then.

On May 13th, Kris was honored in the Lincoln Business Journal's Top 40 Under 40 Ceremony. The Top 40 Under 40 Ceremony honors 40 Lincoln entrepreneurs, executive and professional men and women under 40 years of age. Here are some pictures from the event:

On June 1st, 2005 we will be opening our Omaha office! We are sure our formula for success will work in the Omaha market, and we couldn't be more excited.

Kris was accepted as a winner in this year's Lincoln Business Journal's Top 40 under 40 business person ceremony in Lincoln. The awards ceremony is set for May 13th at the Cornhusker Hotel. Congratulations Kris!
