MS Office locks up when Opening or Saving Files
A recent Windows Update has rendered some computer almost useless. You may be affected if you're unable to access My Documents or My Pictures, your Office programs lockup when you attempt to save or open files, opening files through the File > Open menu causes the program to lock up, typing an address into Internet Explorer doesn't do anything, right clicking a file and selecting Sent To has no effect, and/or some third party applications stop responding when saving to My Documents.
It appears this problem is caused by installing this patch on computers that have Hewlett Packard�s Share-to-Web Software, nVidia shell extension GUID�s, Kerio Personal Firewall, Roxio DragToDisc (also known as Adaptec DirectCD) shell extension, or SolidWorkds 3D CAD products shell extension.
